A Term Sheet and a Head of Terms agreement have been signed between AD Ports Group and the Red Sea Ports Authority for major port projects along Egypt’s coastline. Kuwait is hosting the third GCC event from 13-31 May that will draw about 1700 sportspeople. The Supreme Organizing Committee has revealed the festival’s mascot. COVID-19 measures taken by authorities in China this week have become more stringent and include mass disinfection of homes and preventing those infected from leaving their homes. Authorities in Shanghai have said they will tighten lockdown enforcement, as the pandemic continues in the country’s financial capital. The annual inflation rate in Lebanon is the highest in the world according to recently announced Bloomberg data. As the financial meltdown in the Middle East nation worsens, Lebanon’s inflation rate has risen to the highest of all the countries tracked by Bloomberg – surpassing Zimbabwe and Venezuela.
